Privacy

Plain English, like everything else here.

## on your device

Your learning progress (lessons, XP, streak, quiz answers) and your recent Translate / Say It Better history are saved in your browser's local storage. You can export or delete them any time on the account page.

## tutor chats

Your current Tutor conversation is kept in this browser tab's session storage so it survives a page reload, with anything that looks like a secret removed. It's gone when you close the tab or tap "new chat".

## if you sign in

We store your email address and your learning progress (the same data as above, except Translate / Say It Better history, which stays on your device) so it syncs across devices. Deleting your account removes all of it.

## ai features

Text you submit to Translate, Say It Better or the Tutor is sent to our AI provider (named under each text box) to generate a response. In basic mode it isn't sent to any AI company. We don't save that text on our servers or write it to logs. Obvious secrets such as API keys and passwords are removed before sending, but please don't paste them.

## what we don't do

No ads, no selling data, no tracking pixels.
